pull my strings
make me dance around with
my two feet
tell me who to be
i’ll be a seal
if you think it would be beautiful
to waddle around
bask in the sun for hours and
live joyously
i’ll be a fern
if you tell me to be i’ll wave
my fronds against your skin
drops of dew lining the bridge of
your cute little nose
make me sing
i’ll be a hummingbird
if it makes you feel free
100 miles a minute my wings
will beat i’ll wear your leash
i don’t care who sees
i’ll be whoever you want me to be
