Agaba Solomon Peabo (born in Kampala, Uganda, 1999) is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on the interplay of technology, culture, and social change within the context of Ugandan society. His diverse practice includes photography, digital art, collage, and participatory methods, allowing him to explore complex themes related to the impact of communication technologies. Peabo’s work often delves into historical and contemporary aspects of Uganda, as seen in projects like “Tapestry of Time” and “Echoes of Communication: Uganda,” which examine the evolution of communication and its effects on culture, power dynamics, and social interactions. Beyond his exploration of technology, Peabo is dedicated to addressing social issues through his art.
